This hotel is perfect for a family stay with its friendly staff and great location near the beach and restaurants. The rooms were comfortable, but cleanliness could be improved. The service was a mix of average and outstanding, the dining had room for improvement, and the facilities were decent overall.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of good and not so great experiences. The room was quite spacious with a nice view of the lake and was ready earlier than expected, but the cleanliness left something to be desired. The service was exceptional, with the staff being very accommodating and helpful, especially when we had to extend our stay due to bad weather. The location was convenient, with great lake views from our room, but there were some inconsistencies in the dining options. Overall, it was a decent stay with a few drawbacks.
The hotel offers a panoramic view of Lake Superior just outside the dining room door. The rooms were a bit cleaner, but still had some dust and cobwebs. The vents in the bathroom were caked with grime, and the AC vent needed changing. Special thanks to Carly, Joe, and Daniel for their help with the rooms and the party room setup.
